Quantum design hackathon tomorrow
Tomorrow, Harmoniqs and Unitary Foundation are hosting a “Quantum Design Hackathon” in New York—and Parq will be there.
Stewart Smith (Parq founder) will participate as a mentor during the hackathon work sessions, and as a judge on the end-of-day awards panel. Are you attending the event as well? Be sure to catch David Bryant, Chief Creative Officer at IBM, deliver the day’s keynote speech. (David previously served as Chief Experience Officer for IBM Quantum—so he’s particularly suited to address this hybrid gathering of quantum practitioners and professional creatives.)
This “Quantum Design Hackathon” is a unitaryDESIGN event, presented by Harmoniqs and the Unitary Foundation. It is an interdisciplinary, in-person event (registration required), beginning at 9am and continuing until 6pm. This gathering brings together designers, artists, and technologists to address one of quantum computing’s biggest challenges: effective visualization and communication. Participants will collaborate in guided teams to work on Harmoniqs’ design challenges, combining hands-on problem solving and cross-industry collaboration to highlight how design can accelerate understanding, adoption, and innovation in quantum technologies. Further details are available on the Luma registration page for this event. We're excited to see what you build!
